Honey's Little Girl

Honey’s Little Girl

A collection of poetry written by Taneyka Moore

Relatable. Raw. Personal.

Honey’s Little Girl is a collection of poetry that details the life of Taneyka and close confidantes journeying through life in their 20’s. Honey was the nickname of Taneyka’s grandfather. Honey’s Little Girl is affectionately a phrase that detailed his affection for his first granddaughter. The book features real life events such as love, depression, relationships, heartbreak, mental health, confidence, being a woman of color and personal stories of her family members. The diction of this collection is authentic, raw, sexy, shocking and unfiltered much like Taneyka herself. Join her on her journey on her first book of many and see the world through her eyes.

Honey, the man himself.

Voila! I’m so glad you’re here!

A poet since I was 5 I have lovingly turned the simple haiku into a life-long dream of publishing my first book. If I had to describe myself it would be blunt, rebellious, charismatic and meticulous. I relish in writing about real life experiences that other people can relate to. The heartbreak from the love of your life or the accomplishment of a lifetime, all bases are always covered. I hope that you can see yourself in a poem or two in my work. I promise this book to be a page turner and I would love to hear your honest feedback.
